About the role
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for the management of existing retail accounts alongside winning new business across all channels inline with key business strategic initiatives. This role will be responsible for preparing and leading negotiations and the range reviews process alongside establishing joint business plans to drive mutually beneficial outcomes for both Gen U and their customers. The KAM will be responsible for deep diving into various data sources to identify key actionable insights identifying key growth opportunities for Gen U and their consumers and customers.
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have strong experience gained within the consumers goods or FMCG industry, ideally in a business development or account management position managing and implementing strategic retail plans. They will have a “hunter mentality” with a passion for finding growth opportunities in new and existing customers alongside the initiative to go above and beyond and act on opportunities in a timely manner. With exposure to IRI, Nielsen or Quantium, they will have a passion for identifying key actionable insights and experience in leading the range review process with customers.
