The opportunity:
This is a great opportunity for an IT Systems Administrator ready to take the next step in their career. As the sole person in IT, you will have a broad and varied role and end-to-end accountability for all IT systems.  You will have oversight for all IT related activities within the business including a migration to the Cloud.  This would suit someone who still enjoys being hands-on, whilst also having the opportunity to influence the IT strategy and roadmap and form part of the leadership team.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire IT function while monitoring and maintaining the business systems and infrastructure.
  • Provide day-to-day IT support to the business (approx.. 45 IT users within the business) and act as the first point of contact for IT issues, whilst liaising with the MSP to monitor the IT Performance and resolve reported issues.
  • Lead migration to the Cloud
  • Understanding the company’s information architecture and providing strategic input/recommendations for improvement.
 
About you:
 
  • Solid track record in IT related roles with demonstrable, hands on experience across system administration and infrastructure – within a Microsoft environment
  • In depth understanding of information systems, platforms and new technologies and their capability to support business strategies and growth.
  • Strong knowledge of business principles and budget management.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing company preferred
