Marketing Specialist - Loyalty & Partnerships

About the role
As the Loyalty & Partnerships Marketing Specialist, you are responsible for building and executing the business strategy for the the acquisition of new partnerships through developing end-to-end marketing programs from strategy development and opportunity identification through to campaign deployment, optimisation, and detailed reporting. This role will play a critical role in managing partner relationships at both a strategic and day-to-day level, identifying commercially viable opportunities and creating co-branded in market activity to drive conversion.
In addition to partnership management, you will work closely with a loyalty consultant to bring a new program to life, including testing in market and garnering internal stakeholder endorsement. Aside from being a technically sound marketer, you will also be effective in delivering best in class marketing and have sound experience in managing partners and loyalty programs. You will set in place the strong foundations of a marketing strategy which capitalise on the existing assets of the business while looking for new ways to deliver customer loyalty and partnership growth.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

This role will be well suited to a proactive, commercially savvy candidate with a can-do attitude and hands on approach. You will have strong stakeholder, account management and influencing skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders. You will enjoy working collaboratively in a cross functional environment as well as with external suppliers. You will be comfortable to manage ambiguity as well as challenging the status quo and thinking outside the square, driving to deliver exceptional partnership and loyalty experience.

Skills & Experience
- 5+ years marketing and partnerships/loyalty experience
- Ideally have experience working within financial services or B2B space
- Tertiary educated
- Highly strategic and innovative
- Proven experience securing partnerships
- Exceptional influencing and negotiating skills
- Ability to make business recommendations based on interpretation of data
- Autonomous, self sufficient
- Not afraid to take risks, try new things, push the boundaries and challenge ways of working
