Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Web Developer wanting to join a leading Global outdoor and recreational retailer - Immediate Start
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
The Web Developer will be responsible for new features and changes and resolution of issues, and specifically the development, 3rd-party app configuration and troubleshooting of all Sea To Summit Shopify websites.
The Web Developer will work closely with the IT – Digital and eCommerce functional lead and broader IT team along with relevant business functions to carry out development tasks as well as issue resolution for problems raised through appropriate ticketing and project tracking applications. This person will need to be able to work independently and to deadlines and report back progress.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
• Proactively manage and prioritise development and troubleshooting of the Sea to Summit websites and action all tasks in a timely manner.
• Schedule and carry out proactive maintenance on all websites.
• Carry out all development tasks as needed.
• Proactively report any issues that may affect the IT systems and Websites of Sea to Summit to the IT – Digital and eCommerce functional lead for actioning.
• In consultation with the IT – Digital and eCommerce functional lead, assist with the deployment of software, websites, upgrades, and updates, after having performed the necessary testing and business impact assessments.
• Assist the IT – Digital and eCommerce functional lead and broader IT team with website maintenance tasks as needed.
• Assist the IT – Digital and eCommerce functional lead and broader IT team with any tasks involving integration between the websites and external systems. This includes, but is not limited to, the current and future ERP systems, external vendors, and internal systems as necessary.
• Work with the IT – Digital and eCommerce functional lead to produce and maintain project plans of all current and known future tasks.
• Support the Web Coordinator in maintenance tasks as required.
• Ensure critical business systems failures are reported immediately to the IT – Digital and eCommerce functional lead for investigation.
• Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
• Have a working knowledge of Quality Management Systems in accordance with (ISO9001)

• Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent
• Essential MUST have a passion for the outdoors • Commercially driven and talented creative, analytical, and results-oriented • Deep understanding of brand building and passion for developing and executing customer-obsessed, insights-driven integrated marketing campaigns.
• Ability to execute in a fast-paced environment consistently
• Ability to work as a team and on own initiative
• Ability to develop comprehensive outbound marketing consumer lifecycle campaign
• Ability to drive and grow product brand and consumer recognition
• Knowledge of SEM/SEO, content strategy, social media channels, direct email campaigns
