Our client is an established Australian retail organisation that has built a reputation for innovation and adaptability in what is a competitive and niche market. They are a SME business undergoing significant transformation.  Entering the next stage of transformation, they are ready for growth.  The growth will come from organic growth and cost management, product diversification, focus on ROI and M&A.
 
In helping them through this journey, they are looking for an experienced Head of Finance/Finance Director to support the CEO in delivering the long-term strategic plan. You could even be a Financial Controller looking to take the next step in your career.  This role requires someone prepared to be both hands-on and commercial, in order to support the CEO and leadership team in this next phase.  It is a small but effective team in finance that will require leadership and capability development as the business continues its transformation journey.  This role will suit someone who has worked within a SME environment that has undergone growth, transformation and change.
 
Experience in retail, business services or property would be preferable.
