About the role
This a fixed term contract up until Dec 2023. Reporting into the Manager, Partnerships and Marketing – Official Visitor Products, you will be responsible for a suite of Official Visitor Products (OVP) and other marketing products and programs. Working in conjunction with the Partnerships and Design team, you will:
  • Provide project management assistance to support the development of OVP and oversee production from initial concept to delivery
  • Support editorial and creative content creation in line with seasonal strategies and broader organisational and partner objectives
  • Support with copywriting, editing, proofing and writing of editorial content as well as customising and translating OVP content to international languages as required
  • Ensure effective communication between departments, coordinate all editorial and content assets, monitor production schedules and troubleshoot problems
  • Assist in the management of third-party publication supplier relationships
  • Attend meetings with various stakeholders and support the OVP team in delivering value to Visit Victoria and the participating advertising partners
  • Provide administrative support for procurement, contracting and reporting
  • Maintain the database and communicate with all relevant stakeholders via multiple CRM and project management platforms
This position has a requirement to work out of hours, including evening or weekend work and occasional overnight travel.
 
About You
  • A tertiary qualification related to tourism, marketing, communications or advertising is favourable
  • Strong administrative, time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of copywriting with the ability to adhere to brand voice, style and tone
  • Keen eye for attention to detail with excellent copyediting, proofreading and fact checking skills
  • Proficiency with CRM, project management platforms, electronic editing skills and other tools
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Agile coordination skills with the ability to adapt and be tactful and creative when problem solving
