About the role
As Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be working alongside the Supply Chain and Inventory team and will be responsible for supporting the team with liaising with Freight Forwarders, processing consignments and orders and planning/forecasting stock and inventory movements. Plus, other day to day Supply Chain Tasks. This is a broad role that truly encompasses end to end Supply Chain activities within the consumer goods space.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and receipt all inbound purchase orders and transfer them into the warehouse.
- Demand Planning.
- Inventory Control.
- End-to-end management of the retailer partner portal.
- Communicating with the inbound and outbound logistics teams.
- Ensuring the balance of inventory is in line with demand requirements, to optimise sales and prevent surplus stock.
- Provide continuous improvement strategies to streamline processes within the sales and logistics functions
- Logistics coordination, dealing directly with Freight partners and 3PL.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar supply chain or logistics role within the Consumer Goods/Retail space
- Strong commercial and analytical acumen
- Advanced EXCEL level is adventagious.
- Experience using Netsuite ERP system for planning and EDI Order processing
- Experience with retail partners and within a consumer goods space dealing with major retailers.
