Our client is a high-profile US owned global multibillion manufacturer of industrial products and solutions and a market leader in a number of niche markets.

They are looking to appoint a General Manager to lead one of their recently acquired business units. This is an autonomous role, reporting directly to the US and with full P&L responsibility. Your remit will be to lead and engage a large cross functional team and continue to drive sales and profitability across a number of B-B channels.

Whilst this is a highly strategic role, you will drive a number of operational and supply chain initiatives that will have significant commercial outcomes for the business. This role also has interface with infrastructure and government customers, reviewing and negotiating new and future trading terms and contracts.

It is essential that this person comes from a B2B manufacturing background and has ideally worked within a large matrix organisation currently in a General Manager or Managing Director level role that has full P&L responsibility.

A track record in leading a sales team is ideal with more recent experience in overseeing operations, manufacturing and supply chain. It is also preferable that the successful candidate has exposure to servicing infrastructure and government customers. Imperative to this role is the ability to develop of culture of high performance and accountability.
