Head of Planning
Our client is a heritage brand with a history spanning over 100 years in the Australian market, and has a diverse portfolio of well known and much loved products you'll find in homes rights across the country. With a big focus on continous improvement of the supply chain they are looking to appoint a Head of Planning.
The role will have full accountability for supply & demand planning, S&OP and inventory optimisation as well as leading key continuous improvement projects. Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, the Head of Planning will be in the driving seat of identifying opportunties to better manage supply, improving demand forecasting capabilities and driving business and customer outcomes through the S&OP process and business participation. The aspiration is to have a one supply chain model approach and the Head of Planning will play a key role in delivering this.
Success profile will be a Planning Manager, Head of Planning or Supply Chain Manager Chain preferably from a FMCG background with a proven track-record of building scalable supply chain planning functions to support
a growing business with expertise in supply chain planning, inventory/fulfilment management and S&OP. Your leadership style will be empowering, hands-on, consultative and directive and will thrive in fast paced and dynamic
environment.
You will consider yourself to be humble (no ego), a team player who likes to wear multiple hats and be actively involved. Articulate and confident with the ability to manage and work with a diverse group of people. Proactive and reactive person with strong resilience with a positive can do, will do attitude.
