About the role
Reporting to the Demand Planner you will be responsible for ensuring the on-time delivery and flow of materials from the National DC to the interstate customer service centres. Responsible for the co-ordination and maintaining delivery of materials to fulfil sales orders replenishment requirements of their parts warehouses and service vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
• Day to Day handling of spare parts enquires for customers via email and phone
• Processing of spare parts orders for internal and external customers
• Support with documentation and general administration on request
• Co-ordinate on time delivery of components to reduce the number of back orders
• Expedite orders and maintain system accuracy
• Control inventory levels reducing
• Monitor open sales orders and transfers to ensure they are followed up or expedited
• Oversee the freight and logistics function and facilitate escalations with carriers
Skills + experience
• Prior experience within a manufacturing environment
• Exceptional communication, collaboration and influencing skills
• Proven customer service experience
• Prior experience in warehousing, inventory or logistics
• Sound understanding of Excel
