About the role
This is a fixed term contract up until December 2023. In this role, you will provide customer service support to tourism operators (including attractions, events and accommodation providers) and assist them to manage their content via the ATDW (Australian Tourism Data Warehouse). About the role

In this role, you will provide customer service support to tourism operators (including attractions, events and accommodation providers) and assist them to manage their content via the ATDW (Australian Tourism Data Warehouse). You will also work with stakeholders to display this content on Visit Victoria’s websites and regional tourism websites. You will:
- Coordinate and maintain product listings on the ATDW and visitvictoria.com website.
- Quality check all listings and ensure the content is accurate and meets relevant guidelines.
- Edit copy on listings and optimise listings.
- Provide phone and email support to tourism operators and industry.
- Build relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of the online product strategy and direction of ATDW listings on Visit Victoria’s consumer websites.
- Support the marketing team in the delivery of campaigns as required.
- Assist in the delivery of ATDW training for the Victorian tourism industry.
- Coordinate and action a range of reporting and listing retention procedures as required.
- Report into, and assist the Manager, Digital Product
About you
- Tertiary qualification related to Tourism, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Media or Public Relations is desirable.
- Knowledge or interest in travel and tourism industry in Australia is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Positive can-do attitude with the ability to problem solve.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Well-developed organisational and editing skills, with a keen eye for attention to detail.
- Experience in database management, content management systems and coordination and delivery of web projects
