Our client is an leading manufacturer of pharmaceutical and health care products, they have a large customer base that spans national and international levels. They have a great opportunity available for a Warehouse Manager to join and lead a team of 5 floor staff.
About the role
Reporting through to the Logistics Manager and leading a team of 5+ staff, the Logistics/Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the management and overall performance of warehousing and site distribution functions in line with company policy and procedure.
This includes managing crucial relationships with 3PL partners, pick & pack and loading in a 'safety first' environment and to manage outbound goods process.
A large aspect of the role is managing Inventory levels across the distribution centre and establishing projects to efficiently manage the stock.
The planning, coordination and management of the transportation of products to the customers making sure that everything is carried out in a timely, high-quality and cost-effective manner
The Warehouse Manager leads a performance-driven culture and a team who collaborate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders, maximising customer service levels and optimal distribution network efficiency.

Skills & Experience
- A track record of success in warehousing and distribution management in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience leading teams and building the capability of individuals in an environment where safety is paramount.
- Current and Valid Forklift License is a must
- You will be tech savvy and have experience using several software programs, Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- An ability to analyse process and procedures to ensure that targets are met and standards adhered to, in line with company policy. A Valid forklift and driver’s license are necessary.
