Store Business Manager
Our client is a much-loved Australian retail brand and market leader in premium homewares and furniture. With a big focus on delivering an amazing customer experience in ACT they are looking to appoint a Store Business Manager in Fyshwick.
The role will have full accountability for the successful running and management of multi-million-dollar store, and one of the flagships nationally. The remit includes full financial and budget management (sales, wages, shrinkage, and other operating costs), identifying and implementing initiatives around growing sales and delivering a market leading customer experience. The most important aspect will be leading a large team and providing the support, coaching and development to them, and establishing a collaborative and fun place to work culture.
Your profile will be a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or Sales Manager from a consultative sales/high customer touch point environment with a clear understanding of how a retail business successfully operates. You will demonstrate a good understanding of retail KPIs with preferably some working knowledge of budgets & P&L’s. You will consider yourself to be a passionate retailer who is obsessed with customer experience, sharp commercial mind and who leads people through direction, positivity and empowerment.
You will consider yourself to be humble (no ego), a team player who likes to wear multiple hats and be actively involved. Articulate and confident with the ability to manage and work with a diverse group of people. Proactive and reactive person with strong resilience with a positive can do, will do attitude.
