Our client is experiencing a period of rapid growth. The business is looking for an experienced FMCG Commercial Finance Manager, who is ready and willing to provide, strategic insights and accurate and timely commercial advice to the business. You will work closely with the CEO, Founders and Board of directors to contribute to the development of longer-term financial plans to drive revenue.
 
Due to significant growth, this is a new role and will be providing financial analysis and key insights to drive commercial outcomes, and working with stakeholders to build business cases around business performance improvement initiatives or continuous improvement programs. 
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Management of financial plans including budgeting and forecasting in the short term.
  • Contributing to the development of longer-term financial plans
  • Analysing business performance including profitability, revenue, pricing, and cost of goods.
  • Managing expenses, pricing, and commercial arrangements.
  • Deliver financial elements of board reports, balance sheet planning and cash flow forecasting.
  • Implement improvements to commercial and financial system tools
  • Enhance the forecasting model and contribute to the assessment of commercial opportunities.
  • Contributing to solving commercial problems as they arise
  • Drive operational efficiencies in conjunction with the Operations manager across manufacturing. 
 
Our client operates a flexible work environment which means you only need to be in the office three days a week (currently), with the remainder of your time working from home.
 
The ideal candidate will have come from a similar role, have a strong understanding of FMCG and manufacturing and hold a current CA and CPA qualification.  You will have recent experience providing commercial analysis to a broad cross section of stakeholders, strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, be able to undertake detailed data analysis and modelling, and preparing business performance reports.  You will be hungry to take on the challenges and benefits of supporting the rapid growth of the business.
