Business Analyst - Logistics Services
The Business:
This business is going through an exciting period of change and are going through the process of establishing themselves as one of Australia’s leading logistics service providers. They have a broad service offering and operate with high volumes of different freight modes with customer centricity at the heart of everything they do. Due to this change, they are looking for a Business Analyst to provide insight to operational improvement, working as part of the strategy team.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Strategy, your role will be integral to the design of the growth strategy and will involve working with high volumes of data (Excel) looking for opportunity to drive efficiency across their national network which is diverse, with a focus on regional activity optimisation of the network and eventually refinement of the service and products available to their customers.
The Person:
This role will require a critical thinker with a curious mind that has the ability develop strategic conclusions working with large amounts of data. To under pin this, the successful candidate will have strong excel skills, experience with tools such as Power BI being highly favoured. Excellent communication with the ability to present findings and present in a simplified manner will be critical to success.
