Export Officer - Air Freight

Our Client:
A leading global logistics provider with complete Supply Chain Solutions, specializing in transportation, logistics, forwarding and warehousing
 
Purpose of the Role:
To work alongside and support the Freight Manager and Operations General Manager in the smooth running of the department ensuring all customer expectations are met. 
 
Responsibilities for the Role:
  • Assist handling the export air process end to end
  • Prepare documents from shippers, agents and local clients air export
  • Registration of export air and sea files into Cargowise and utilise system across entire process
  • Arranging Collection from Shipper (Airport lodgement)
  • Liaising with local carriers to book customer deliveries & collections
  • Provide status updates to a portfolio of clients
  • Prepare HAWB’s and MAWB’s
  • Booking Directly with Airlines & Service Providers & Requesting Ad-Hoc Rates
  • Costing, Quoting and Invoicing
  • Continuously monitor shipments from the point of receipt through to final destination
