Responsibilities for the role:
  • Liaise, negotiate and purchase from mainly domestic suppliers of raw materials
  • Consolidate and source alternative suppliers
  • Run RFQ’s and onboard new suppliers
  • Manage the purchasing cycle, including generating requisitions and PO creation
  • Purchase products competitively
  • Establish optimal quantity to purchase, quality required and cost impact
  • Provide uninterrupted flow of materials
  • Continue to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Possibility to be involved in some global projects
 
About you
You will be an experienced Procurement or Purchasing Officer who will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Strong analytical capabilities and proficient user in excel
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
  • Understanding of the supply chain cycle
