About The Company:
This business has a large network spanning across Australia and is a market leader in their chosen field. They are consistently innovating and looking at ways to improve their customer experience and have a significant investment in CAPEX that is exciting and unparalleled. Due to internal movements, they have a 12-month FTC for a Category Manager – CAPEX available with a view to permanency for the right candidate.

The Role:
Reporting to the Senior Category Lead, your role will form part of the team dedicated to capital expenditure across the network, this will consist of a mix of exciting and fast paced sourcing for innovative and cutting-edge projects focusing on things like sustainability and customer experience through to recontracting and negotiating on important business critical contracts with supplier partners across Australia, but also internationally.

The Person:
The ideal candidate will have a track record in working in a fast paced and dynamic environment, ideally in sourcing CAPEX goods and or materials, but candidates who can demonstrate strong sourcing results in affiliated categories and a willingness to develop a career in CAPEX procurement are encouraged to apply. As well as this, they will have good energy, be a natural stakeholder and thrive in an environment where no two days are the same.

This is a 12-month FTC however, with one of the largest procurement teams in Australia there is real opportunity for permanency.
