A leading FMCG business based in Melbourne Southeast, the business is part of Australia's largest FMCG Groups. This is more than just a permanent full time Accounts Receivable opportunity, you will see that there are Assistant Accountant responsibilities involved.

Maintain customer master data, administer the accounts receivable records, whilst ensuring financial process controls in line with company policies. Monitor and collect monies due for the supply of company goods, perform reconciliation, payment allocation and follow up and resolution of any variances. Maintain strong relationships with the customers and internal stake holders. Assist the Financial Accountant in the overall operation of the Accounts Receivable function and backing up other AR Team members.

Responsibilities
  • Perform with SLA guidelines for critical activities.
  • Ensure bank allocation are done on daily/weekly basis per payment cycles.
  • Ensure customer payments are received within terms.
  • Follow up customer’s credit claims on timely manner.
  • Manage positive customer relationships.
  • Adhere to and improve the credit controls
  • Able to prioritise a demanding workload.
