About the Company
This high profiled global food manufacturer with award winning brands, is one of Australia’s success stories in FMCG. With over 30 brands in their portfolio, they are looking to attract a project manager with an NPD background to run a product information (PIM) project here in Sydney.

About the Role
This is a newly created role reporting through to the R&D Manager, and the key attributes will be strong communication skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders such as suppliers, co manufacturers and retailers. The initial 12-18 months will be focused on project implementation and management with a focus on NPD, reporting and compliance. If you have an interest in regulatory and compliance, this role would be move towards a leadership role in regulatory.

Skills and Experience
You will be the driving force in terms of leading the project implementation of the product information portal, to drive efficiencies and growth factors within the innovation growth agenda. The PIM system will capture documentation for formulations and specifications, packaging and ingredients, as well as quality agreements to meet regulatory standards. Ideally, you will have a food science degree with several years’ experience in food manufacturing and NPD, relevant to specification management and have run similar projects before. A strong CI mindset is important with the ability to analyse data and quantify technical issues, and build reporting capabilities. Strong stakeholder management is critical for the rollout of the PIM technology.
