Financial Accountant
We are currently working with an exciting, high growth business which is an established leader in its field. With operations across design, engineering, and manufacturing, the business is responsible for bringing to market some of the leading brands in its sector. A newly created role is now available to support a high performing finance team in the role of Financial Accountant. This role would ideally suit candidates making their first move from public practice, however other backgrounds and experience will also be considered.
Responsibilities include:
• Assisting with monthly reporting pack and any other periodic / value add reporting
• Undertake sales, gross margin, cost and production analysis, providing feedback and commentary to assist relevant operations stakeholders.
• Ensure timely completion of the Group’s statutory reporting requirements.
• Assist with monthly financial close in a timely and accurate manner from end to end.
• Ensure timely completion of the Group’s statutory reporting requirements
• Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure.
• Ensuring Inventory and cost accounting are accurate.
• Ensuring and maintaining GL integrity of entities within the Group.
• Ad hoc project work and process improvement
For best success in this role, you will have ideally demonstrated a high level of technical expertise in financial accounting coupled with a high level of analytical skills. You will enjoy working with a collaborative and dedicated team that strives to provide exceptional support to their stakeholders. Any experience in manufacturing or fmcg would be well regarded, as would strong Excel / ERP skills and BI experience. Please note that this role requires 5 days per week onsite working, with occasionally flexibility as and when required.
