Our client is a leading premium cosmetics business with a diverse portfolio of products, who due to an internal move have an opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join their supply chain team in a newly created role.
The Role
The Supply Chain specialist is the key stakeholder tasked with managing the business’s supply Chain and logistics. They will be responsible for inventory management, including managing, sourcing and ordering materials/packaging with manufacturers, contract manufacturing, warehousing, forecasting and end-of-month stock reporting. As well as this you will be maintaining strong relationships with the sales and marketing team to ensure service levels are met to the customer base. Whilst managing end to end supply chain duties, from production to purchasing of raw materials and packaging.

As well as this you will be maintaining strong relationships with the sales and marketing team to ensure service levels are met to the customer base. Whilst managing end to end supply chain duties, from production to purchasing of raw materials and packaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing activities and minimum order quantity inputs for both packaging and raw materials.
- Coordinate internations logistics - Import/Export.
- Manage contract manufacturing accounts.
- Deal with external stakeholders - 3PL/ Freight Forwarders
- Undertake regular capacity reviews and identify potential issues. Forecast and plan Demand/Supply.
- Create Performance Dashboards and KPI reports
Skills & Experience
- Experience in similar positions – understanding of end to end supply chain and international logistics. Dealing with Co-pack/Co-manufacturers is ideal.
- Strong Computer skills – Netsuite exposure preferred.
- Highly analytical aptitude and ability to work in fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
