About the role
Due to exciting transformation growth within their foodservice business, the National Business Development Manager role is a senior, newly created position reporting directly into the Head of Foodservice. This position will act as the bridge between Sales and Innovation, and act as an integral voice to expand distribution across the entire Foodservice channel whilst overseeing the NAFDA distributor business.
This role will be focused on profitable business and channel growth through customer optimisation, business development and product innovation. You will work closely with Product, Innovation and R&D teams to create new product specific to the foodservice channel. Important to this will be owning strategic relationships with key stakeholder driving the business development agenda.
Skills & experience
The National Business Development Manager will be a trusted and effective business partner to the Food Services Team. They are likely to have at least 5 years in FMCG senior account, national field roles or similar and hold an excellent working knowledge of QSR/Distributors/Value Add product development.
The successful candidate will be a, an excellent negotiator with great business acumen and business development capability. They will be a relationship builder, possessing excellent communication skills and an ability to take the team on a journey. They are high energy and fanatic about food and product innovation.
