About the role
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will be a key member of the Logistics Team who coordinates the Import/Export of products.
Responsibilities
- Build effective relationships with external stakeholders including transport companies’ personnel and international customers.
- Timely management of communication between suppliers, customers and internal parties maintaining details and relaying pertinent information to appropriate parties.
- Day to day management of inventory, ordering, delivery and invoicing through the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Booking freight with the relevant transport companies, forwarders, and shipping lines.
- Generate required import and export documentation for multiple accounts in various stages of completion in a timely manner.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in accordance with customer and legislative requirements.
- Ensure compliance with customs, export, applicable foreign trade/import laws, as well applicable transport regulations.
Skills and Experience
- 2 years experience in an international logistics role within Food/Beverage
- Import/Export documentation exposure.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
- Systems Experience – Microsoft Excel and Dynamics 365
