About the role
 
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will be a key member of the Logistics Team who coordinates the Import/Export of products.  
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Build effective relationships with external stakeholders including transport companies’ personnel and international customers.
  • Timely management of communication between suppliers, customers and internal parties maintaining details and relaying pertinent information to appropriate parties.
  • Day to day management of inventory, ordering, delivery and invoicing through the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Booking freight with the relevant transport companies, forwarders, and shipping lines.
  • Generate required import and export documentation for multiple accounts in various stages of completion in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed in accordance with customer and legislative requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with customs, export, applicable foreign trade/import laws, as well applicable transport regulations.
 
Skills and Experience
 
  • 2 years experience in an international logistics role within Food/Beverage
  • Import/Export documentation exposure.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
  • Systems Experience – Microsoft Excel and Dynamics 365
