Supply Chain Readiness Lead
The Company:
This company is a leading global pharmaceutical business with a commitment to improving patient health and wellbeing through the development and delivery of innovative medicines. They are embarking on an exciting project to build a state-of-the-art facility in Melbourne, Australia. As part of this project, we are seeking a Supply Chain Readiness Lead to join the project team on a 3 years max term contract.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, the Supply Chain Readiness Lead will be responsible for ensuring that the new facility is fully equipped with the necessary resources, processes, and infrastructure to support a smooth and efficient supply chain operation. This role will require a strong leader who can work cross-functionally to implement supply chain readiness plans, manage change, and ensure successful execution of supply chain processes across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement supply chain readiness plans for the new facility, including the establishment of supply chain processes and procedures, inventory management strategies, and distribution models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of supply chain readiness plans with overall project goals and timelines.
- Lead the development and implementation of training programs to ensure that all stakeholders understand and adhere to supply chain processes and procedures.
- Manage change within the supply chain function, proactively identifying and addressing potential roadblocks or issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure that all necessary resources are in place to support a smooth and efficient supply chain operation.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of supply chain operations and identify areas for improvement.
Skills and Experiance:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in supply chain management, with a focus on pharmaceuticals or similar GXP environment such as chemicals.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain projects.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to a GPX environment.
