We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our manufacturing business. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial statements, while ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
 
The successful candidate will have experience in similar roles, be detail-oriented, and have excellent organizational skills. You will possess strong communication skills and be a team player who can work well in a fast-paced environment.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Consolidating, processing, and paying invoices for Accounts Payable.
  • Managing Accounts Receivable and ensuring timely Credit Control.
  • Handling banking-related matters, including credit card management.
  • Posting to General Ledger and reconciling accounts.
  • Conducting Month-End processes.
  • Corresponding and processing transactions with international entities (Europe, AU/NZ).
  • Managing Foreign Currency transactions.
  • Providing support to finance inquiries directed by management.
  • Performing other ad-hoc finance and administration duties as required.
To be successful in this role you will need:
  • 2-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
  • A willingness to learn and expand skill base within a manufacturing environment
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Business (major in Accounting)
  • Experience using SAP is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
