About the role
As the Head of Ecommerce, you will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and manage the internal team and external resources to achieve business goals. In this role, you will lead their global strategy, review the process, and optimise all aspects of ecommerce to achieve D2C revenue targets. You will be accountable for devising the global ecommerce strategy for the company, including onsite and mobile performance, conversion, UI/ UX design, SEO, email marketing/ CRM, customer mapping and insights.
 
This position requires technical understanding of the backend systems, and you will oversee all technical development aspects of their multiple ecommerce sites globally and business systems.
 
Key attributes
  • Develop a roadmap to improve ecommerce strategies and resources to achieve business goals and set KPIs to measure performance.
  • Develop and implement brand architecture/ UI -UX strategy to improve user experience and increase revenue
  • Establish CRO process and strategies to deliver better results.
  • Develop and implement CRM strategy to drive increased RFM and customer rates.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategy to increase organic traffic and achieve revenue targets.
  • Use analytics tools to identify customer pain points, map customer journey and find new insights to drive growth.
  • Maintain global websites to ensure low technical issues and monitor digital trends.
  • Find efficiencies and develop innovative ideas to drive better performance within ecommerce area.
  • Manage implementation and reporting of all web analytics including content, site, traffic, and marketing campaign analysis.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the ecommerce budget.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across brand, creative, operations and CX and drive communications and collaboration.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach ecommerce team and create team structure that support success.
 
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Ecommerce role or similar
  • A proven track of record of managing and growing online sales channels preferably in similar industry or business.
  • Ability to think strategical and develop effective ecommerce strategy for achieving business objectives.
  • A solid understanding of ecommerce platform, web technologies and analytic tools - HTML, Shopify, Adobe suite, Google Analytics, CRM
  • In-depth understanding of google analytics, google search console, and google tag manager with the ability to pull out key data sets.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision making and optimise online sales and marketing strategies to drive growth and revenue.
  • Working knowledge of digital channels for websites, and social media channels (paid and organic)
  • Experience in managing multiple sites for different market/ countries is advantageous.
  • Ability to lead a team, inspire their growth and promote retention.
  • Experience in developing eDM strategies to increase conversion and RFM.
  • Exceptional management and communication skills
