The Role:
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will have full accountability for the site and will be tasked with utilizing their Pet Booking system to effectively manage bookings, collect key pet information and payments, and follow up on any outstanding accounts in a timely manner. Additionally, you will collaborate with the General Manager to deliver on-site KPIs and other key performance indicators.
Other responsibilities include reviewing and adjusting task delegation based on changing situations, responding to any pet health issues with urgency, and promptly providing pet health updates to owners in a clear, concise, and effective way. You will also be responsible for escalating any site concerns, team, or pet incidents to the General Manager in a timely manner.

To be successful in this dynamic role, you must have strong leadership and people management skills, as well as forward planning capabilities for operations. You will be responsible for delegating tasks to team members, providing positive and constructive feedback on performance, and ensuring effective training and development of team members.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and a professional and strong work ethic. Additionally, you must have a commercial and brand awareness, business acumen, and strong time and attendance management skills.
Please note the boarding facilities operate outside of standard business hours. The ideal candidate will have weekend flexibility and be available to work weekends and during peak holiday period when required.
