Our Client

Our client is a not-for-profit food relief organisation that partners with the entire Australian food and grocery sector to supply front-line charities nationally with the stocks they need to address hunger in the community. This involves working with farmers, wholesalers, manufacturers and retailers to source fresh and manufactured foods.

An opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Manager to join their collaborative team based in Glendenning. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organisations overall supply chain and logistics strategy.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining strong relationships with vendors and customers
  • Create supply chain management strategies
  • Cost management
  • Develop, teach and reinforce safety guidelines and protocols
  • Managing 3 direct reports 
  • Prepare and submit board reports
  • Optimise warehouse functions
About you

To be successful for this role, you will have previous supply chain management experience, and be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Understanding of supply chain processes
  • Continuous improvement experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Proactive mindset to look at more effective use of resources
A current drivers license is also required for this position.
