We have an exciting 12-month contract opportunity with a leading food manufacturer, working on NPD projects.

As the Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful procurement of raw materials and packaging as well as external manufacturing partners for new product launches. This is a fantastic chance to use your expertise in sourcing and supplier management to bring innovative new products to market.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop new product specifications.
  • Sourcing raw materials and packaging components and co-manufacturing capacity that meets quality, sustainability, and cost targets.
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts
  • Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials to support production timelines.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports related to sourcing activities.
The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with quality and sustainability standards in the food industry.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
