We are currently seeking a Finance Manager to joining our expanding Finance team. This is a fantastic career opportunity for any aspiring finance individuals with the opportunity to work in a high growth business, with a significant change agenda backed by PE investment. The role reports and partners with an exceptional CFO, together you will build and lead a robust finance team. 

The Finance Manager will lead a team of five consisting of transactional and financial accountants and will support the CFO with several change and improvement initiatives including an ERP implementation and building a success focussed and high performing finance team. 

As Finance Manager you will be responsible for 
  • Management of month end close process, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation and payroll.
  • Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in a timely and accurate basis to allow for monthly and annual consolidated financial statements.
  • Formulating accounting policies in accordance with AASB and ensure consistency throughout the Company.
  • Direct and indirect taxes, with assistance of third-party tax adviser
  • Maintain accurate weekly cashflow forecasts and manage cash inflows and outflows to ensure optimum cash position.
  • Overseeing the completion of the Annual Audit and preparation of annual IFRS Financial Statements
  • Confidently leading and developing the accounting team to ensure efficient, effective operations of the department whilst serving the needs of the business.
 
To be successful in this role you will be CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent) and will have a strong knowledge of ERP systems. Knowledge of SAP is highly beneficial as is experience in driving process improvements, automation and partnering with the business.
