This role will see you based in their Melbourne CBD head office – hybrid working (2-3 days in the office).

 
Position Overview:
This role is a six-month contract with an immediate start.
Are you an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect with a passion for designing and analysing Customer Loyalty systems?
Do you have hands-on experience in Salesforce Platform, RESTful API's, SFDC systems and services, automation, CI/CD, and DevOps?
Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and have practical experience in overseeing architecture and analysing application portfolios across multiple domains and teams?

We are currently looking for an Salesforce Solution Architect to join our client’s team and help design and develop IT solutions aligned to the CRM, Customer Loyalty, Customer Communication (engagement & marketing) systems and projects. You'll provide recommendations based on fact-based analysis, understanding of our client’s business, its systems' value, dependencies, constraints, risks, and priorities.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Developing architecture documentation for loyalty initiatives/projects focussing on digital, data, integration and security.
  • Working with the relevant Product Managers/ Business teams during the ideation and discovery phases of the program. Attend respective product team cadence and collaboration forums to support delivery of sprint plans such as standups, scrum of scrums, big room planning (BRP), etc.
  • Working day-to-day with the respective delivery teams to support solution discussions of the immediate and future sprint plans.
  • Defining, exploring, and supporting the implementation of enablers to evolve solution intent, working directly with project teams to implement them.
  • Maintaining oversight and signoff on detailed design and changes to existing solution architecture as required. Delivering and discussing solution architectures and recommendations to both senior IT and business stakeholders.
  • Contributing to technical agility and uplifting skills/domain competency using collaboration, training, and mentoring techniques with the IT teams.
  • Consulting with relevant technical leads to ensure solution designs are aligned to all technology components and endorse enterprise-level architecture principles.
  • Driving the solution thinking and definitions through research and consulting with internal and external SMEs, that drives the Product roadmap.
  • Ensuring that all solutions delivered have considerations to impacts to commerciality and ongoing support.
  • Driving and presenting solution designs at formal forums for approval such as Key Design Decision (KDD) forum and Architecture Review Board (ARB).
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:
  • Hands-on experience as an Salesforce Solution Architect with domain experience in CRM, Loyalty systems (i.e. Salesforce LMS / SessionM) and Salesforce Platform (Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Customer Communities, Object Model, Apex, Visualforce & Lightning Web Components, etc.)
  • Experience in designing and analysing Customer Loyalty systems capability models with a good understanding of key areas including customer journeys, loyalty, rewards, marketing flows, Fulfilment, etc.
  • Understanding of retail technology footprint, future roadmap, business enablement plans, and create the best possible path for implementing Commerce products.
  • Strong working experience with a broad range of technologies and practices including database, RESTful API's, SFDC systems and services, automation, CI/CD, and DevOps.
  • Expertise in modern application development and cloud environments, in particular: AWS (IaaS and PaaS and Computing services), Micro Services and Serverless architectures, ETL integration experience.
  • Practical experience in working in a fast-paced environment and overseeing architecture, risk assessment, analysing application portfolio across multiple domains and teams.
  • Adaptability to working in an organisation with a Product Delivery Framework such as ideation, discovery, and delivery.
