They have a large procurement function in the Asia Pacific region and currently have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced procurement professional in the capacity of Supply Manager.
About the Opportunity
The Supply Manager is a critical project-focused procurement role responsible for driving exceptional customer and commercial outcomes through supplier management activity. You will be responsible for leading a range of procurement projects at any given time, bringing together internal and extenal stakeholders to deliver complex capital expenditure projects for customers on time, within budget and to specification. As part of your role you will undertake sourcing activity for new products and services, negotiate terms of supply, and effectively manage the performance of a wide range of vendors across direct and indirect categories. You will deliver cost-out and cost-avoidance results for your organisation, in addition to ensuring that suppliers are delivering the highest quality product or service, with minimal supply chain disruption.
The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will present with in depth project procurement experience in the CAPEX and / or Engineering Services and Logistics categories. Ideally tertiary qualified in Engineering or a related field, you will demonstrate high competency in supplier relationship and performance management, responsible sourcing, negotiation and project management activity. Your first class stakeholder management ability and the energy, drive and passion you bring to your profession will be key to your success in this role.
