Six Degree’s Executive are delighted to be partnering with a much loved and much referred Australian legacy brand, as they seek a Head of Digital & Automation to join their passionate and dynamic business.             
 
As the business enters a period of digital transformation, the Head of Digital & Automation will be tasked with project managing the optimisation of the customer/user experience for the business online, while also bringing a sense of cohesion across all elements of digital, including web, search, paid and organic social, content and media.
 
While also managing a high performing digital team, this role will work cross functionally, as well manage externals partners. Through a test and learn mentality, teamed with supreme people management ability, this role will ultimately champion the business online, as a best-in-class service provider.
 
While success will be measured through the development of online operations and a seamless digital experience, this will also be measured through an increase in website visitors, customer acquisition and growing revenue.
 
About You
 
Given the senior and digitally centric nature of this role, candidates will have built their career within a digital marketing environment, and ideally have had some experience in CX/UX optimisation. While we are open to industry background, a consumer focused background is of great appeal. 
 
Further to this, candidates must:
  • Demonstrate recent experience in the evolution of a web/digital footprint through digital enablement.
  • Have clear experience across marketing automation tools and implementation
  • Possess prior experience in managing headcount - ideally small to large teams.
  • Understand the importance of business partnerships, both internal and external
 
Culture 

The business itself is filled with passionate and positive professionals, who are collaborative, curious, and challenge the status quo. You can expect to work on a hybrid basis, 3-days per week in the office, with the remainder from home. In addition, there will be some (but minimal) national travel involved in this role.
