Job Description:

Our client is seeking a skilled Management Accountant to manage their accounting department. The ideal candidate would be someone who enjoys supervising the transactional side of the business while analyzing opportunities for improvements. This role is suitable for a candidate with a broad range of knowledge in management accounting and who desires to progress in their career. Over the next 12-18 months, the team's growth is expected to result in this position stepping into a finance manager role, expanding the finance team and taking on additional responsibilities.


Responsibilities:


The successful candidate's daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling accounts payable
  • Preparing weekly cash flow and executing payments
  • Supporting the month-end and year-end close process
  • Preparing financial statements, reports, and the annual budget
  • Managing year-end audits performed by statutory auditors
  • Being the contact point with local banks, tax advisors, and local authorities
  • Liaising with the finance team of the parent company and submitting reports on time
  • Supervising the local accounting team


Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
  • 3+ years of related experience in a similar role
  • High level of skills in Accounting and IFRS
  • Knowledge of ERP, preferably SAP (FI-CO)
  • Excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional prioritization and time management skills
  • Strong results orientation
  • An extremely high work ethic
