Our client is a fast growing worldwide premium manufacturer, of specialty packaging to the food industry. The Asia Pacific business has been around for 30 years and is still growing.


About the role

Our client is looking for a management accountant to run the department with full financial responsibility from AP to AR through to month end closing and reporting.
This role would suit someone that has a broad knowledge as a management accountant. You would be the go-to person for the finance team so great communication and leadership skills is a must. They are looking for someone that is wanting to progress in their career, as the growth for the team over the next 12-18 months would ideally see this position stepping into a finance manager role and expanding the finance team.                                                                                         
Currently the daily tasks would include but not limited to                  
  • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable.
  • Prepare weekly cash flow and execute payments.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports and the annual budget.
  • Manage year end audit performed by statutory auditors.
  • Be the contact point with local banks, tax advisors and local authorities.
  • Liaise with Finance team of the Parent company and submit on time the requested reports.
  • Supervise local accounting team.

Skills & Experience

The successful applicant will possess the below skills and experience:
  • Qualified CA / CPA accountant.
  • 3+ years of related experience in similar role.
  • High level of skills in Accounting and IFRS.
  • Knowledge of ERP, preferably SAP (FI-CO).
  • Excellent computer skills and advanced skills in Excel.
  • Outstanding organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional prioritization and time management skills.
  • Strong results orientation.
  • An extremely high work ethic.
  • Motivation for career progression and development.
