About the role
The Procurement Officer is responsible for forecasting requirements, purchasing of materials crucial to the company’s day to day operations, and continuous analysis of pricing, quality and supplier capability.
 
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Maintenance of item pricing and supplier set up on system.
  • Implement and contribute to the development of contract management plans, monitor performance and negotiate contract variations through effective supplier relationships.
  • Source new suppliers, new products, raw materials and coordinate the supply of equipment and parts as needed.

Skills & Experience
The preferred candidate profile will be a proven procurement administrator from within the consumer products or retail sector who can demonstrate a high level of negotiating skills and an ability to drive key tasks to completion.
