Site Supervisor - Retail Fit Out

Your Company

My client is a leading large format retailer looking for a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to deliver their store fit out and refurbishment projects. They have ambitious growth targets for the national rollout of their stores giving a healthy project pipeline for the remainder of 2023 and well into 2024.
As the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

Your Position
  • Oversee on-site construction activities and manage subcontractors to ensure they adhere to the project schedule and specifications
  • Monitor and maintain health and safety requirements on-site
  • Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager and communicate any issues or risks that may arise
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with building regulations, planning permission, and company policies
  • Minor hands on work required e.g. assembly of shop fittings and merchandising to help store opening
  • Conduct quality checks on materials and workmanship to ensure they meet the project standards
  • Ensure site is left clean and tidy upon completion
Your Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience of site supervision on shop fitting, fit out or refurbishment projects ranging in project value of $100k, up to $3m+
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, building regulations, and health and safety requirements
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Trade procurement, trade coordination / scheduling and management
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Willingness to travel nationally and work flexible hours as required
  • Unrestricted driver license
