External Relations Associate
The Company
Six Degrees Executive have partnered with The Global Infrastructure Hub which works with public and private sectors to educate and inform on large infrastructure projects. Funded by the G20, they work internationally sharing data led insights on best practice and innovation techniques and act as a point of collaboration between sectors and industry leaders. They have a mission to utilise infrastructure as best as possible to forward economic factors within societies across the globe.
The Role
This role supports the partnerships and engagement function of the business and sits within the external relations team. This role involves conducting market research to identify new potential funding partnerships and to assist with strategy around targeting new opportunities for the organisation. This person would map out capabilities of the GI Hub in relation to how they can support the G20 within infrastructure projects globally. The successful candidate would be a key point of contact in Sydney and work closely with local stakeholders, as well as responsibility for upkeep of the client management system and a range of administrative duties.
Skills and Experience
The Global Infrastructure Hub are looking for someone with an understanding of government organisations and the public sector. Ideally this person will have exposure to policy and advocacy and stakeholder management skills. Experience with market research, communications and business support are beneficial and this person must have an interest in international relations. This person must be a self-starter and able to work autonomously and will need to be flexible to attend out of hours meetings with international teams.
