Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement ecommerce strategies to drive website traffic, increase sales and improve customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Manage the entire ecommerce operation, including website development, content creation and user experience optimisation.
- Lead the website redevelopment project from start to finish, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, to a high standard.
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, sales events, and other initiatives to drive sales growth.
- Monitor and analyse website traffic, performance metrics and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
- Manage budgets ad allocate resources effectively to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement testing plans to improve website performance and customer experience.
- Ensure the website is optimised for search engines and other online marketing channels.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors.
- Stay up to date on the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices and apply them to our business.
- Manage and optimise our social media channels, including content creating, advertising, and community engagement.
- Conduct industry research to develop original content ideas and identify new opportunities that drive increased brand awareness and conversions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, ecommerce, business, or related field
- 3- 5+ years of experience in ecommerce with a proven track of record scaling ecommerce brands’ revenue year on year is a MUST, preferably in QSR, consumer products or Retail.
- Strong knowledge of website development and content management systems such as Shopify, Magento, or WordPress.
- Proven track record of delivering a successful website redevelopment, considered an advantageous qualification.
- Experience in managing and optimising ecommerce website traffic and conversion rates.
- Strong analytic skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Experience in managing budgets and allocating resources effectively.
- Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment with strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to think strategically while also being hands-on and result oriented.
