About the role
 
You will focus on identifying potential customers, generating leads, and managing the sales pipeline from lead through to customer sign-up. Additionally, you will deliver software demonstrations to
prospects with the specific goal of closing the sale. You will specifically target small to medium-sized companies, with the aim of realizing additional revenue. By delivering insights, products, and services to customers, you unlock a pipeline of opportunities, drive high levels of customer value, and grow our technology user base. This is a high-velocity sales cycle, so you are required to work at speed by moving prospects through the sales pipeline and process with efficiency.
 
What you’ll do:
  • Reach out to qualified leads to create sales opportunities and deliver product demos.
  • Be a sales challenger - use your understanding of the construction industry, as well as
  • how cloud and mobile technology can be used to influence your customers and improve business outcomes.
  • Be an active contributor to the agile development of the products and services to be delivered to the customers.
  • Work with the National Sales Lead and Senior Business Development Managers to develop plans, strategies, and actions to meet revenue and user goals for your territory.
About the candidate:
  • Clear and demonstrated track record of selling solutions or products to the SME channel.
  • Equal parts of personality and gravitas to influence and engage with a diverse range of
  • customers and partners (from directors, franchise operators, business owners, tradies, through to industry specialists).
  • Rigorous in research and understanding of key strategic targets and an ability to tailor your
  • approach to get results.
  • Persistent, resilient, grit, and resourceful attitude to outbound lead generation.
  • An understanding of the importance and functioning of workflow technology and how it supports SMEs to run their businesses.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, encouraging a focus on continuous improvement, and working collaboratively with all levels of the business.
  • A strong commitment to follow a proven process that is high velocity when it comes to managing a sales pipeline.
