Our client is an instantly recognisable FMCG brand with a portfolio of much loved products you'll find in households in Australia, New Zealand and across the world. With a big focus on building rigour and sustainability in their supply chain, and exciting role has come to market for a Senior Supply Planning Manager to join their team in Sydney.

The role reports to the Head of Supply Chain Planning and has full accountability for the supply planning function and leading a diverse team of planners who are responsible for different customer channels. The focus of the is to take the supply planning function from good to great by working on continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, optimise inventory, improve supply and reducing risk and most importantly deliver an excellent level of customer service. The role will also focus on creating a high performing and fun culture, and working with the team individually and collectively to develop their skill-sets and capability in planning excellence commercial thinking and stakeholder engagement

You will be an established and successful Senior Supply Planning Manager preferably from a FMCG Manufacturing background and a proven track-record of leading sizeable and diverse teams in supply, materials and production planning. You will consider yourself to be a change agent, confident to challenge the status quo and be a hands-on, involved leader with a can-do attitude and the ability to create accountability and a high care factor with your team. Working with a diverse stakeholder group from the executive leadership team through to manufacturing teams and suppliers, you will have a well developed EQ and be able to adapt your style and approach to your audience and the outcomes you are looking to achieve.
