This business is a well-established and rapidly growing Australian-owned company specializing in the production and distribution of high-quality consumer goods. With a diverse product portfolio and a strong presence in multiple sales channels, including retail, wholesale and recently exports. As demand for our products continues to rise, we are seeking a talented and motivated Demand Planner to join their team.

Responsibilities:
  • Using demand planning strategies and processes to optimize product availability and minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and obsolescence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Production, and Supply Chain, to gather relevant data and insights for demand forecasting.
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, promotional activities, and other demand drivers to generate accurate demand forecasts and identify demand patterns.
  • Monitor and evaluate demand forecasts against actual sales performance, adjusting forecasts as needed to ensure optimum inventory levels and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular demand planning meetings with key stakeholders to align on forecasts, address potential issues, and drive consensus.
  • Generate reports and provide insights to management, highlighting key demand metrics, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Demand Planner or in a similar role within the FMCG industry or related industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in demand planning software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
