Are you a seasoned procurement professional with expertise in managing indirect procurement categories? Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a global FMCG business and make a significant impact on its procurement strategies? If so, we have the perfect role for you!

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to work as Procurement Business Partner (Indirects). This newly created role will be a key member of the global procurement team, you will be responsible for managing a broad range of indirect procurement categories, driving cost savings, optimizing supplier relationships, and contributing to our overall business success.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement category strategies for indirect procurement categories, including but not limited to marketing, logistics, IT, eCommerce, and professional services.
  • Conduct market analysis and supplier assessments to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand their business needs, define procurement requirements, and provide strategic guidance on procurement best practices.
  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier selection, negotiation, contract management, and ongoing supplier performance evaluation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring high-quality service, timely delivery, and ongoing competitive pricing.
  • Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, specifically focusing on indirect categories.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices, including strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings and process efficiencies within indirect procurement.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research, data analysis, and supplier assessments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with FMCG industry and associated indirect procurement categories is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
