The Opportunity
 
This in an exciting part-time opportunity for a highly energised Operations leader to join a small, privately owned medical practice that provides world class care to patients within both the private and public sector.

Initially working 3 days per week, you will partner with the directors of the business and other key internal stakeholders to help take this highly regarded practice to the next level and be excited by the challenges that come with helping the business grow. The Role
 
As somebody who enjoys working for a small business, you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance and operations, lead the growth strategy by working with the directors and develop external partnerships and strategic alliances to increase revenue.
 
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
 
  • Working with the external accountant, manage financial performance, cashflow planning, analysis and reporting.
  • Create and maintain pricing and fee schedules for the patient services function.
  • Collaborate with the Directors and other internal stakeholders to implement strategic plans and budgets.
  • Provide leadership & supervision to the Billings Officer to ensure efficiency of billing functions and maintain positive cashflow.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvements to policies, procedures and systems.
  • Build and maintain relationships with third-party providers including negotiating contracts for the provision of services.
