Finance Business Partner (Sales)

This is a permanent full-time position, based in Melbourne's South with flexible working from home arrangements.
The Finance Business Partner (Sales)
You will business partner with the Commercial Director and the broader Sales team, driving performance across all areas by providing
accurate and timely insights that enable the team to effectively manage all areas of sales.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide ongoing business partnering to enable Sales to achieve financial and operational targets.
• Play a key role in the month end close process.
• Investigate and report on variances to forecast by customer and SKU.
• Prepare the monthly forecast for Sales, working with the sales team to ensure appropriate sign off
• Develop and/or implement necessary processes to support internal forecasting/reporting requirements.
• Provide financial support for sales initiatives, including allocation, tracking and reporting.
• Play a key role in the preparation and compilation of the AOP (Annual Operating Plan).
• Work with the Commercial Director on the implementation of a longer term growth plan.
• Provide financial support for the S&OP process.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis as requested.
• Active involvement and participation in plant LOC activities.
Experience & Qualifications:
•A Degree in Finance and a professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA)
•Minimum 3 years general business and financial experience
•Experience in operations, manufacturing or related industry preferred
•Experience with financial modelling
•Reporting: proven ability to consolidate complex information into usable customer oriented formats
