Six Degrees Executive have partnered with a successful food producer as they seek an experienced ERP (SAP) Project Manager who will drive the development and execution of software projects to support their expansion and growth. 
 
This opportunity is suitable for a seasoned IT Project Manager who has end to end ERP delivery experience (ideally SAP and MYOB) and is well versed with every aspect of an ERP upgrade. Equally, you will have exceptional stakeholder management skills with an ability to build effective business relationships through trust, empathy and clear communication.
 
Note: This is a 12-24 month fixed-term engagement that offers a financial bonus based on achieving KPIs. The engagement duration can be negotiated by both parties pending progress of the below deliverables.

The opportunity:


You will be responsible for (but not limited to):
  • Developing the project scope and project plans for the ERP, MYOB and ordering system upgrades
  • Facilitating the delivery of the project plans by working with stakeholders across the business
  • Ensuring that projects are delivered within time, budget and quality inclusive of resource constraints
  • Vendor management and strong negotiation skills
  • Presenting to the Steering Committee project updates and recommendations
  • Assisting the existing IT team to configuring and customising ERP modules to meet business requirements
  • Developing and delivering training to end-users on system functionality
  • Undertaking system testing and ensuring a smooth transition to BAU
About you:

To be considered for this position, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Extensive project management experience in delivering ERP solutions on time, within budget and to scope
  • Experience with vendor management, change management, cost management and resource planning
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective business relationships with a range of stakeholders at all levels of the business 
  • Effective reporting and analytical skills, exhibiting attention to detail
  • Advanced influencing and facilitation skills
  • A strong team player with an ability to listen and take others on the Technology Transformation journey
The ideal candidate should have exceptional Emotional Intelligence (EQ) skills enabling them to navigate complex and confidential situations, foster collaboration and promote a positive work environment.
 
In addition, the candidate will be able to work autonomously, take accountability for outcomes and confidently escalate project issues to ensure delivery.
