About the role
The Branch Manager is a high-profile leadership role wholly responsible for the exceptional operational and commercial performance of their business while delivering a first-class customer experience and best practice safety culture. The Branch Manager creates and fosters a team culture emphasising the utmost importance of safety and compliance in daily operations, in addition to high performance and a values-driven approach to work.
The Branch Manager ensures that their business is appropriately resourced from a personnel and equipment perspective to meet targets relating to safety, service and cost, and meet evolving customer requirements. The Branch Manager has full P&L Responsibility for 3 sites across the Brisbane region and functional leadership across logistics operations, sales & customer service, admin support and is responsible for financial reporting, budget preparation and cost review and reduction initiatives.
The successful candidate
The successful candidate will be an experienced senior logistics or branch management operations professional with a well rounded commercial skill set & customer focus. Ideally from the industrial services, transport & logistics, building & construction or similar heavy industries, you will have a demonstrated track record of safety and people leadership, and exceptional influencing and negotiating skills. Your customer-centric focus and the ability to energise and get the best out of your people will be the key to your success in this role.
