The Opportunity
 
This in an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Trade Spend/Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the finance team of one of Australia’s most recognised consumer goods businesses. Supporting the finance and sales teams, this hands-on position will manage and report on the trade spend process and claims management, along with providing monthly commentary for any variances.
 
The role
 
As a key member of the finance team, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
 
  • Review all trade spend claims against scan data.
  • Maintain rebate agreements.
  • Approve claims and raise any exceptions.
  • Prepare monthly trade spend accruals for finance.
  • Support the preparation of all monthly customer reporting.
 
You
 
The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in a similar Accounts Receivable/Rebates/Claims role and bring a collaborative style with strong communication skills. Proficient with MS Excel, you will have a good attention to detail and have a proactive and inquisitive nature.
 
While experience within the FMCG industry would be beneficial, candidates from other industries are encouraged to apply.
