Our client is a privately owned Australian manufacturing business servicing customers with an innovative and unique range of products for the commercial sector. As a high growth, small business with big ambitions, they are now seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead the business and achieve the growth agenda. Reporting to the Board and leading a small team, you will have full cross functional accountability and the P&L ($30m - $50m), with the primary objective of driving growth through new products, channels, and customer segments, as well as delivering sustainable profit results. Key to success in the role will be the strength of your leadership, your ability to turn a strategy into an executable plan and ensuring productivity and safety targets are achieved within the manufacturing plant and across the organisation. This is a hands-on role where it is expected you will have the gravitas to interact with key customers and the board, as well as the shop floor.

The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified with a minimum of 3-5 years in a GM / MD equivalent (or Divisional Manager) role with full P&L accountability. Experience will have been gained from a business-to-business manufacturing environment where you have worked across multiple channels, products and customer types.
